Hello, and welcome to Cozy Hugs. Diorama's are so popular at the moment I thought I would give it a try with a mini version. Just to see if it might be something I would enjoy doing. Here are photo’s of how I assembled my mini kit from Rolife called Borrowed Garden.
A head’s up: I ordered my kit directly from Rolife. When I received the kit it was missing a few things the paint (3-colours), batteries (2-2032), and glue. I did purchase these from a craft store because I needed them (of course), but I wasn't expecting these items to be missing from the kit.
assembly of smaller features
cut leaves out and glue to wire
assembly of door, and rockery
putting in the back wall, door, and testing the lights
adding greenery, and the tree stump
placing the items to the front, and hanging beads
completed placement inside, I moved things back so they wouldn't hang over the edge
and to finish up, I added a piece of acetate to the front to keep the dust out
completed, and placed in my little bookcase 💕
Although I enjoyed doing this project it certainly has a learning curve. Which was to be expected. And I did make a few mistakes along the way. Overall though, in my opinion, Rolife does a good job in their diy diorama's.
Until next time,
Jess
