Dandy Day

Hello, for this card I did a clean and simple (CAS) design. I really love the look of a clean card as the eye is drawn, usually, to one focal point. This is my first attempt at it, and I think it turned out pretty good : )

I am pretty smitten with this little mouse, and had this layout in mind long before I bought him! I love how Lawn Fawn stamps mix, and match together. It makes them so versatile!

I used my Ranger Distress Inks to watercolour the mouse, and background. I then die cut the image, and card front adhering them together with Gina K glue.

I added the dandelion seeds blowing off the card using Hero Hues Black ink. I think this gives the card a whimsical feel to it.

Finally, I added the sentiment that was included with this set. Plus a couple more seeds to add interest. I raised the sentiment with double sided tape to have a bit of dimension of the finished card.

I really love how this card turned out. I am surprised how versatile this little set is! I'll be able to use this little mouse on so many other cards!
