Hello, and welcome. Today I want to share a card I made using Lawn Fawn’s Christmas Village, and the Penny Black Starry die. This was such a fun card to make! Glitter, and Santa it doesn’t get better than that combo!
I used Bristol Smooth paper my base, and Hero Arts Black Dye Ink to stamp the images. For the moon I used Squeezed Lemonade, and my pinky finger to add Spiced Marmalade for ‘craters’.
I love this Santa, and Reindeer from Lawn Fawn called Ready Set Snow. It is definitely one of my all time favourite little stamps! Perfect size for scenes like this one! For the night sky I used Distress Ink, and blender brushes. Then moved onto watercolour for the houses, and lanterns.
Then using the Starry die from Penny Black I made a trail of stars to follow Santa’s sleigh.
I backed the stars with Lawn Fawns Pixie Dust sparkle cardstock.
I finished with a Merry Christmas sentiment, and added a few of my Distress Ink night sky stars that I had leftover. I really like the way this card turned out with just a hint of sparkle ✨
